Tidal Moon 02:36
Tidal moon brought daylight's death To the waters where she set In the harbour widows wept For their sunken treasure chests Ceaseless bounty, wild command Ships of plenty lie in sand Sleeping empty by her hand While their sailors dream of land

Do you feel like a walking shadow Of someone you thought you knew Are you noting your age with sorrow For the things that are coming true Always running through my mind Someday soon babe the bells are gonna chime Do you feel like you're on the outside When by now you should be in Are you cursing your age with sorrow Do you feel like you're wearing thin Always running through my mind Someday soon babe the bells are gonna chime Always falling just behind Someday soon babe the bells are gonna chine I don't want to cry for youth For all the lies blotted out all my truth I don't want to cry for time When crying's of little use Always running through my mind Someday soon babe the bells are gonna chime Always falling just behind Someday soon babe the bells are gonna chine

A true deceiver came up crying Say no one will be deceived And after all his years of trying There's no tricks left up his sleeve Don't wanna lie in my arms Don't wanna lie in my arms Just want to lay down in your bed Don't wanna lie in my arms Don't wanna lie in my arms The true deceiver said A true believer cam up crying Say no one will be deceived And after all her years of trying There's no tricks left up her sleeve She don't wanna lie in my arms She don't wanna lie in my arms Just wants to lay down in my bed She don't wanna lie in my arms She dint wanna lie in my arms The true believer said

You can go by the road or go by the river Take a chance on the dance or live that she gives you Give your money to the beggar or through it in the fountain So many ways to try and cross a mountain You can come as you go and leave as you want to Treat the hills as your plate and the sky as a mirror Cry for the days that go racing by you Or try to make a mark on the ones not behind you You can go by the road or go by the river Take a chance on the dance or live that she gives you Give your money to the beggar or through it in the fountain So many ways to try and cross a mountain You can go by the road or go by the river You can go by the road or go by the river

Half sick of shadows Rise as I fall Crooked black candle Burns by the wall And moves overhead In the hollows above Shifting it's shape And calling to us Spirit in silence Enters the room Brought by my actions Drawn from the moon And moves overhead In the hollows above Shifting it's shape And calling to us To rise from our place In rustic embrace And go greet the night In wild country light

What did you see What did you see When all was gone and the sky was wronged What did you see Saw a young girl out on the road A pale horse at her side Saw an old man toiling the earth 'neath a grey and smokey sky Old man gonna toil the earth until the day he dies What did you see You candle handle what I see In circles of stone She sat all alone Pointing west-ward as the sun went down What did you see

I'm weary of mind and in need of some kind soul A room for the night some place off of the road Think i've seen your face before but that was oh so long ago What price now your heathen heart I'm weary of soul and in need of some good rest A friend for the night and a chance to look my best Think I've seen your bed before but that was oh so long ago What price now your heathen heart What price now your heathland hearth I would give up all my trying and dreaming for you To see your seas so green and your eyes so blue What price now your heathen heart What price now your heathland hearth What price now your heathen heart What price now your heathland hearth

A good girl A kind heart A broad smile On my part A safe house On a dark night A warm bed By fire light Tell me if I'm dreaming But don't you see it too Was a good nights dreaming that I dreamt of you A thatched roof Green turf Turned soil In old earth Warm breasts Soft tongues A wild book Of wild songs Tell me if I'm dreaming But don't you see it too Was a good nights dreaming that I dreamt of you While the shadows keep on falling I'll try to dream it true Was a good nights dreaming that I dreamt of you

See as the move in over the water The sun and his sons The moon and her daughters See how they move in over the corn The view from the hill At first light of morning I am alive in ways yet unseen The girl at the gate The birth of my dreaming The sun and his sons The moon and her daughters Work with our charts And move across our waters

You who wonder wild and free To the sound of willow trees Say now, prey tell what you see In your seeing stone for me Send you to the river bed Soak your bones and rest your head Come the night all dressed in dark I would try to tame your heart You who hold the blood stained dove True will be the earth to us Say now, prey tell what you see In your seeing stones for me Send you to the river bed Soak your bones and rest your head Come the night all dressed in dark I would try to tame your heart
